“Frankie is the man!!! He is the only person I’ll let massage me from now on. His hands works magic, does wonders & are sent straight from heaven! I went in feeling like I got hit by a train, & left feeling like I was on cloud nine. He did an amazing job every session, such a good job that I became a member who now gets monthly massages from him! Whatever ache, pain, or knot you have, he can fix it! He’s educated me on things I didn’t know about my body, he is very professional, his space is always super clean & smells great! “I was not looking forward to starting physical therapy and I am so happy I did! What a wonderful team of professionals gathered here!! The care from Dr. Rachel (PT) and Dr. Meg (Chiropractic) was not only thorough but personalized and administered with care and kindness. The PT assistants -every single one - are just as wonderful, diligent and truly caring. Every session started with someone asking me how I felt that day so the working session was tailored to what my body needed. I had a goal to develop endurance for my son’s upcoming wedding next week and I know I met that goal. I also worked with Dr Tony and Dr Justin (from Matawan) who were equally dedicated to my care when they filled in with me. The front desk staff greet you with smiles and conversation every time! They are very organized and flexible, and so easy to work with scheduling appointments. I completed my prescribed weeks feeling like I was part of a big family. Everyone knew me and I was able to get to know them all through conversation, laughter and encouragement throughout my course of therapy! They all genuinely like each other and that is passed along to the patients, who recognize the friendship and comfort offered to us every day! “This is my second time visiting Island spa on my birthday! I think my favorite part is the bath houses. One critique I have is that there’s not much variety in the bath houses or the saunas. However, the ambiance is very peaceful and relaxing. The first time I got a massage it was amazing. My second massage was okay. The food was pretty good. Overall, I’d still keep returning. Plainsboro Massage Spa is a hidden gem in an unexpected location. We both got an hour long combination massage where deep-tissue was TRULY deep tissue. Kelly found all of the knots in my traps, lats and calves, and completely got rid of them. The face and scalp massage were divine. The body stretches? ? These ladies are pros.
