About Island Spa & Sauna
Island Spa & Sauna is a 30,000 square foot day spa that offers a unique and revitalizing experience for the mind, body, and soul. The spa features a range of dry saunas made from natural materials, each with its own health benefits. Guests can indulge in a variety of spa services, including massages, traditional Korean body scrubs, and facials. The on-site food court serves a Korean fusion and sushi menu, and the juice bar offers fresh juices and light refreshments. The facility is clean and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. Many visitors appreciate the large and beautiful bath area, with plenty of heated pools and different saunas of various temperatures, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The spa has also been praised for its cleanliness, with staff constantly sweeping and drying floors to maintain a tidy environment. The food and drinks at the cafe are enjoyed by guests, with many noting the yummy quality. The main lounge area offers comfortable seating, making it easy to relax and spend the whole day there. Some guests found the cold ice room not as cold as expected, but overall, Island Spa & Sauna provides a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that leaves guests feeling amazing.
Steam room is great; not too hot but gets very
steamy. Sauna is way too bright; “wallmart level brightness”. This is my second favorite Korean spa after Spa Castle in Carrollton north of Dallas.
You will have a wonderful, relaxing experience here! However, it gets very busy on weekends. I recommend going first thing in the morning, to try to beat the crowds and get a good parking spot.
Afterwards, you can either eat delicious Korean food inside their food court or walk right outside to a bunch of the lovely restaurants in the same shopping center.
FYI- the gender-separated bathhouses are fully nude. No bathing suits allowed. Once you exit the bathhouses, everyone is in robes.
This Spa has alot of great amenities and services. The spa staff are wonderful and friendly and do a fantastic job of keeping the spa very clean. The café and juice bar also have plenty of delicious meals and snacks
