“The massage experience was good because the masseuse applied the right amount of firm pressure. She was friendly towards me before and after the massage. At the beginning of the massage, we spoke for a short while, but after, she remained quiet and focused on the massage; and allowed me to relax by concentrating on the music and the massage. However, I cannot say that it was a great experience because I was expecting it to finish with a full body stretch. In the past, at different locations (not Message Envy), a full body massage ended with the masseuse stretching both legs, both arms, the hips, the neck and the shoulders. This particular massage ended with the neck and shoulder stretch only. This is my first visit to a Massage Envy, so I am not sure if I should have asked for the massage to end with the stretching, or if it’s just not something that the masseuse is not permitted to do with this particular service. Nevertheless, hopefully, management will permit a light stretching at the end of the massage because it does add a great benefit to the overall experience. Next time, I will ask the masseuse if she can end with the stretching or not.“
