“Update - just read they are out of business. oh well Had their team come in to renovate two bathrooms. THe end product was beautiful - feel like I am in a hotel everytime I enter the bathroom. Pros: Very professional, responsive, clear on timeline and what they would do/not do. Project was completed within time agreed to. Workers were nice, neat and did good work. Cons: Thought there would be a little more design input or suggestions from their side. I could tell them what I wanted and they would do it but was hoping for more of a team approach. Luckily for me I am fairly experienced with renovations (did 3 complete NYC apartment gut renovations) so knew what to think of (like, oh, I need an outlet here and here, oh, a mirror would do great right here. Price - they were on the high end of the estimates I received but felt like they were a large reliable organization which made me more comfortable with spending the $.“

“Out of the blue, a portion of our living room ceiling collapsed. Nobody was hurt. It was original to the 84 year old house, and the nails holding it to the joists just failed. Bob Hume came over soon after I called and we determined that several rooms, ultimately 5 (living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms) plus the ceiling above a stairway, needed to be replaced. He had a crew in the next day to demo the living room ceiling. This was a profoundly disruptive event, but Bob was very concerned that I was satisfied and kept in touch. The crew was really good at what they do. They cleaned up thoroughly. I would be happy to work with them again.“

“I had a very positive experience with GI Construction and 100% reccommend them.

Friday night there was a storm and water was coming into our house as a result. I called GI Construction Monday morning, and the owner Gent came over shortly after and assessed my roof. He explained to me why the roof was leaking, and pointed out faults that were even visible from the ground. He showed me pictures and video of the issues he assessed during his inspection.

I reviewed my options and decided to go with GI Construction because of the professionalism Gent exhibited.

GI Construction started on my roof the following week and promptly completed the project. Everything was very straightforward and Gent shared pictures of the progress with me along the way.

Gent and his crew were punctual, professional, respectful, and took pride in the work they did on my house. They did a great job cleaning everything up as well. They did this work in the middle of August, in the brutal heat.

I could not have asked for a better resolution to such a stressful situation and I am very thankful to Gent and the GI Construction crew!“

Ms. Gallitelli took the time to explain everything and was willing to work out a plan with us. She did as stated she would do the next business day by forwarding the video and the invoice. She left a message saying call if there was a problem and what to look out for. The plumbing problem we had we thought it warrant immediate attention which it did not after being fixed by HOFF and Sons. We had to other company out for the same problems and neither said that we didn’t have to fix the problem ASAP not only that a previous plumber had been there the day before and the issue was not resolved . Thank you very much Ms. Gallitelli and HOFF and Son. I highly recommend Hoff &Son to get the job done.“
