“We just did a sunroom renovation with Marc Spector and couldn’t be more thrilled! We had an enclosed old sleeping porch off of our bedroom that had storm windows and wasn’t insulated, with no heating or cooling, and a slanted rubber floor. When our third child arrived in October my office became her nursery, and I needed a new office space, so we decided to have it finished and make it a real four-seasons room. Marc and his team were phenomenal…He was the only person we spoke to who not only understood our vision for the room but knew exactly how to execute it. They started on time, finished on time, had workers here every day (who were all very polite and cleaned up after themselves), and Marc or his son came here in person every day to check on things. They put in new windows (and were able to guide us on the right kind to get, another area where other contractors we had interviewed fell short), insulation, new beadboard, new ceiling lights and outlets, recessed radiators and ceiling cassette mini splits, and a beautiful new—and level—wood floor. Even the inspector who came by at the end was blown away by their work and told me so. (The heating/cooling solution they came up with was ingenious! We spoke to other contractors who hadn’t even heard of or considered the ceiling mini splits he used, which will allow the room to be air conditioned without obstructing the view from the windows). Also, we thought the price was very fair especially for the quality of the work. Take a look at the end result!! This is our new favorite room in the house. If you are searching for a contractor we can’t recommend them highly enough.“

“We hired Jay-Quin Contracting to completely renovate our bathroom. They were recommended by a couple of people we knew and had good on-line reviews. We met with Jay and he gave us an estimate for the work to be done. Due to COVID, our renovation was pushed back but the supply chain was slow so by the time we were ready to go, we had our items lined up. Jay was very patient and has a very even and easy going personality which I found comforting. He listened to both my husband and I, he heard what we envisioned and also made suggestions. Our home is almost 100 years old and although the bathroom had been renovated about 30 years ago, we were still nervous about what would be uncovered. Luckily, everything was good and the installation of walls, tiles and floors went off without a hitch. There were minor, post-renovation issues and Jay was eager to make the changes necessary to make us happy. Jay and his staff worked very clean and took the time to cover all areas and clean-up before they left. I have, in the past, had bad experiences with contractors.
