About Speech & Hearing Associates
Speech & Hearing Associates has served patients since 1969. The office is described as amazing and always greeted with a smile. Patients say the provider who did their evaluation was excellent, explained the process to test hearing well, and made them feel comfortable. The audiologist who diagnosed moderate hearing loss for a girl worked with speech therapy and ear tubes, and after first speech therapy the child could finally hear and respond. The office gives feedback on what to work on at home each week, which helps children catch up quickly. Staff are described as knowledgeable, patient, and caring. The group offers speech therapy, comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid evaluations, central auditory processing evaluations, and auditory training for infants, children, teens and adults. They treat articulation, language, fluency, voice, processing, and swallowing disorders and work with individuals who have autism, developmental delays, strokes and other neurological conditions. They adjust hearing aids bought elsewhere, provide musician earplugs, swim molds, and sound limiting headphones, and accept Medicare and most insurance plans.
Ease of making appointment and appointment was so smooth, DR. made my 5 year old comfortable. They explained the process to her.
Both of my children saw Miss Laura for articulation issues with their speech. She was absolutely phenomenal and really supported my husband and I in helping them at home. Her sessions were always fun for the kids but definitely always challenged them without them knowing. I can’t say enough great things about Miss Laura!!! The office staff was also very kind and friendly and informative when I needed help. 10 out of 10 for this group !!!
Everyone has been amazing and helpful. Every step of the way, from the initial evaluation to setting up services has been easy and all my questions have been answered. We had our first session today and Miss Laura was fantastic and able to keep my son engaged.
