“When our younger sister fell and broke her hip about 10 weeks ago it was tough to find a sub-acute care facility in Morris County willing to take her and get her back to walking. She was under the age of 55, deaf and Downs syndrome, so special needs for sure. Holly Manor clearly stepped up to the challenge. The staff at Holly Manor were so welcoming, and when we asked to tour the facility beforehand on short notice they could not of been nicer. We met with admissions, nurses and the physical/occupational therapy staff and they answered all our questions on how our sister would be cared for and how they would handle communication since our sister is deaf. Our sister was well cared for at Holly Manor not just by one or two people but the entire staff of aides, nurses, physical/occupational/speech therapists, food service, housekeeping, social work and recreational staff. A true team effort there by all staff to rehabilitating their patients and your loved ones. The end result for our sister was a full recovery--walking and moving again like new without the assistance of a cane or walker, and well on her way to returning to her normal life.
