“When our younger sister fell and broke her hip about 10 weeks ago it was tough to find a sub-acute care facility in Morris County willing to take her and get her back to walking. She was under the age of 55, deaf and Downs syndrome, so special needs for sure. Holly Manor clearly stepped up to the challenge. The staff at Holly Manor were so welcoming, and when we asked to tour the facility beforehand on short notice they could not of been nicer. We met with admissions, nurses and the physical/occupational therapy staff and they answered all our questions on how our sister would be cared for and how they would handle communication since our sister is deaf. Our sister was well cared for at Holly Manor not just by one or two people but the entire staff of aides, nurses, physical/occupational/speech therapists, food service, housekeeping, social work and recreational staff. A true team effort there by all staff to rehabilitating their patients and your loved ones. The end result for our sister was a full recovery--walking and moving again like new without the assistance of a cane or walker, and well on her way to returning to her normal life. “After a bad massage, I had been dealing with a nagging injury in my calf. Rather than relieve the soreness, the massage moved the inflammation and it settled in my calf. I was training for the London Marathon and with my 20 miler coming up, I needed to seek professional help. I could not get the power off each stride that I knew I had and needed. I saw Monica and within minutes was able to diagnose the misalignment that was occurring with each stride. She gave me two exercises to help with the realignment and taped up my leg to enforce proper running form. Her understanding of the human form, but more specifically runners made me really comfortable not only listening to her advice but practicing it when I got home. She made sure I knew how to do them properly before I left. This visit was a God-send because following the session and with the implementation of those exercises before my long runs I was able to toe the line and set a PR in London!“

Nickie, her PT staff (Andrew, Evan, Samantha), and Jessica at the front desk were simple amazing … friendly, professional, attentive, and caring. “I was referred to Denville Medical & Sports Rehab after being seen by Dr. Ratliff at Modern Orthopedics in October 2023. I wanted to explore other avenues for my shoulder injuries before agreeing to surgery. My MRI indicated numerous issues such as calcification tendinitis, a small rotator cuff tear and possible frozen shoulder. I was in severe pain and could not elevate my arm.Initially I was seen by Anthony Rella who reviewed my medical situation and referred me to physical therapy. I was assigned to Dr. Luis Lopez.
