They are very friendly at the salon. I had an interesting experience which will clearly demonstrate their professionalism and responsiveness. I saw Jackie for a touch up and a glaze. It ended up being very light (which I must say is the direction I did give her) and after a week, really thought I saw grey already coming in. I sent an email with my feedback and immediately heard back from them encouraging me to come back in. So, I went back this past Friday. Jackie was so apologetic and wanted to make it right. She mixed the color and had Dara (who could not have been any nicer!!) put it on. They took great care of me and wanted to make it right.

I had a wonderful experience at Avant Girl! I reached out beforehand because I wanted someone experienced with naturally wavy/curly hair and curtain bangs, and they matched me with Cathleen. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, worked with my natural texture, and explained how to style my new cut at home. I absolutely love how everything turned out. There was a scheduling mix-up at first, but the staff apologized and were able to fit me in later that same day. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and I’ll definitely be back!
I have been going to AvantGirl for the last 7 years for highlights, cuts, Brazilian blowouts, facials and weekly blowouts. Everyone in the salon is fabulous- from Aria the owner to Natalia who does my facials, waxing and brow tints to Diane who does my hair- highlights, cuts Brazilian and weekly blow drys. I only moved full time down the shore this past January, however I would drive down weekly from Philadelphia to the salon for all my hair needs. I have recommended the salon to many of my friends and they now go on a regular basis. They are accommodating and do a fabulous job! I can’t tell you the compliments I get on my hair!!
