“I was given the referral to Squan Animal Hospital from a customer at my job. He had really wonderful things to say about them so I decided to give them a call. The consultation was a reasonable price so I figured why not give it one last shot. This was my third opinion for a tumor removal on my 11 year old Frenchie’s back leg and I went in there with the smallest bubble of hope that there would be anything they could do to help me. I met Dr. Moreau (who is so kind and amazing!) and I was thrilled when he told me he would be able to remove a majority of the tumor. He was very thorough with explaining to me that he would not be able to get all of it, but he would do his best. I knew that financially an amputation was not going to be something I could do at this time. My goal was to de-bulk the tumor and get as much time with my buddy as I could. He is otherwise totally healthy so I needed to do something! Dr. Moreau was able to do the surgery at a very reasonable rate. From the first day, we walked into that office we were treated with nothing but kindness and friendliness! The girls at the front desk were all wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. They were great anytime I called or sent a text with questions. When Jack had his procedure done, he was very unhappy coming out of the anesthesia and one of the girls wrapped him in a blanket and put him on her lap until they called me to come pick him up. When she told me he spent some time on her lap I was so appreciative and grateful for the love she gave him. It’s what we all hope happens to our pets when we entrust them to somebody else’s care! All of our aftercare visits were wonderful as well. A couple of these visits were with Dr. Levin and he was just as kind and thorough as Dr. Moreau. Everything was explained to me from beginning to end and all my questions were answered. The entire staff at Squan Animal Hospital is amazing! I have nothing but positive things to say about all of them and my experience there. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a new vet or a very competent surgeon for their pet.
