The front desk team is always kind and incredibly helpful, especially when we’ve needed help with scheduling changes. The email and text reminders are also a huge help for busy families.

They go above and beyond in ways that really make families feel valued. They send birthday gifts to their students, and when my father passed away, I received a handwritten condolences card from the school. That small act of kindness meant so much to me and was such a thoughtful surprise.

Every time we walk in, we feel seen and welcomed. They know their families by name and create an environment that truly feels supportive and personal. I can’t say enough about how happy we are with the Denville Music Academy. It has been a blessing to our family, and I’m so grateful my daughter is growing her love of music in such a wonderful place.“

“Nice community orchestra group in town that also offers private lessons. My daughter started playing violin several years ago & does private lessons & the orchestra group-she made lots of friends in the orchestra group and really looks forward to going each week.“

“I’m writing this 5 star review through the lens of a mom of (almost) 1 year old twins, a Kindie musician, and a licensed K-12 music educator, with over 20 years of experience teaching. Rockness Music is such a wonderful program, and you should absolutely sign your kids up. Mr. Michael brings such fun to each and every one of his classes. He’s engaging, treats the kids with love and respect at every moment, and brings educational content that the kids really love. They learn about new instruments, move their bodies with a weekly dance party, and get to use their imaginations throughout. He also can pivot at a moment’s notice to reflect the interest of the kids; one of the students was excited about a plane flying overhead today in class, and Mr. Michael improvised a song about airplanes right on the spot, including actions for the kids to do and everything. You can tell how passionate he is about what he does. If you’re thinking about signing your kids up, do it. They will have the best time, and they will grow up loving music.“

“Amazing studio that makes you feel right at home! I had a great experience recording my very own single and they made me feel very welcomed and included in every step. They have great equipment that you can use for recording as well. I highly recommend this studio if you’re looking to record music! They work with you in terms of budgets as well, which is a plus. Looking forward to the next time I’m there to record more work!

“What a lovely music school! Had a wonderful experience right from the get go! My son decided to try out a not so common instrument, and the owner took the time and effort to find him a teacher, called me back and set up a trial lesson. The admin staff is so helpful when it comes to sending invoices, making payments etc. The teacher is also so caring and has been working really well with my som on his one-on-one lesson. “What a lovely little place!! The director of the school, John, is a wonderful person to work with. He is truly knowledgeable and is looking out for the best options for your child. The studio is at a convenient location in maplewood downtown, and is a lovely space that is partitioned well. So classes are insulated from one another. I would highly recommend this music school.“
