Not only was it a little long, but it would not zip AT ALL. I found Antonia and brought her my dress. I tried it on, and she explained that she would need to make a corset back. “I machine washed a winter parka I shouldn’t have and ripped one of the inside fabric panels.
I had visited the shop before and noticed all of the precision sewing machines behind the front counter, so I decided to give them a try.
The woman, I wish I could remember her name, examined the damaged seam and stated that it would require a hidden stitch, how much was the repair (reasonable), come back in a couple of days to pick it up.
Boy was I amazed by the handiwork.
I couldn’t tell that it had been damaged beforehand.
I worked in the area and had spoken with a few of their customers, everyone said they do great work with the dry cleaning but most often the women say they love the tailoring.“
