“Monday, 1/29/24, was an extremely difficult day for our family. We made the decision to have our sweet Reilly (half black Lab & half Bernese Mountain Dog) compassionately euthanized. She was suffering from inoperable cancer & her decline was swift. Although that decision is always heartbreaking, Reilly deserved to leave knowing we loved her beyond description & to leave with dignity & to have a peaceful transition. Furry Friends is a Godsend. The receptionist, the vets, the assistants are angels on earth. Their job is not easy, but they take every member of the family into consideration. This is the second time we counted on on Furry Friends. They explain the process. They do not rush you. They are so kind. We wish Reilly & all our pups could live long, healthy, fun lives. “Dr. Glicker and her team are absolutely wonderful! 5 stars doesn’t even do justice for this group. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Glicker is our vet for our two Goldendoodles and I never worry because they are always in such good hands at that office. Most recently, our boy Archie had surgery to remove a mass from his shoulder. Due to inflammation the incision was about 12 in long. It looked terrifying but the surgery went perfectly, and his recovery even better. Exactly two weeks later, our boy got his stitches removed and is back to being his normal happy self. Thank you Dr. Glicker and her AMAZING staff for going above and beyond to take care of our baby’s!!“

“My dog ate a combat roach bait and I panicked. They took her in and did an exam and called the poison control center for animals. They took such great care of her. Staff was extremely friendly and caring!“

“Hands down, the most loving and attentive Vet we have ever been to. We have had many dogs over the years and different Vets before coming to Barnside and truly, Barnside is the gold standard. Dr Sharin couldn't be any more connected to her furry patients. Her staff all love animals as well! The inside of Barnside is just so quaint and relaxing. Welcoming to animals of course but a great little toy space for children too! There are habitats with Gerbils in them, and a hanging bird cage with adorable colorful chirping birds, and what looks like possibly a giant fish tank-in-the-making as well. You may find offices which charge less but the emphasis on prevention of illness is a key to my philosophy of animal care. I don't want to "wait" till my dogs need a Vet because treatment for those things often cost WAY more than preventing an illness. Anyway. We currently have 4 Pets that use Barnside. I wouldn't have anyone else take care of my fur babies!“

“Been taking my cat here for several years. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. My cat is almost 12 years old and has some GI issues that unfortunately can get worse in a matter of hours with little warning. With that said, I sometimes need her seen ASAP. Last week being one of those incidents.. I was up all night with zero sleep with a sick cat. Next morning I called and they were able to get me a late afternoon appointment. Staff is helpful and Dr DiLorenzo is so kind, gentle and reassuring. Listens and explains everything to you. Grateful to know I have this wonderful place I know I can rely on to keep my baby healthy and alive!“
