Dry Cleaners near Fair Haven

“(This back story is necessary information to understand my rating and post)I’m currently in the process of replacing my wardrobe after significant weight loss. I’m fortunate enough to now have the ability to purchase “luxury” clothing from brands like Kiton, Zegna, Marco Pescarolo, etc. With that said I wanted to make sure that they are properly taken care of. The first dry cleaners, that I had been using in the past, had never heard of the brands. While some may think I’m overthinking things dropping off a just few pieces of the new clothing that cost roughly $10,000 caused me to think twice about which cleaners I used. I stopped at Flair and was immediately greeted warmly by an individual who I learned was Andrew. He was familiar with the brands and the how each brand suggests that they are cleaned before even looking at the tags. The fabrics ranged from Japanese denim, Cashmere, silk, wool, and linen. Andrew made me feel comfortable leaving my clothing with them and was also a great guy to chat with. I was asked when I needed it back and I said no rush. I picked it up about a week and a half later. I was expecting a a higher bill than I received, that was a pleasant surprise. I had returned to the store where all of the clothes had been purchased and the style consultant that I’ve worked with each time asked if I had the Cashmere trousers I was wearing dry cleaned. I responded in the affirmative and was concerned that he noticed something wrong. To my relief and to Flair Cleaners credit he asked where I had them cleaned and proceeded to compliment Flair on the quality of their work. With that said Flair has now been my go to cleaners. Ever since my first time dropping off they remember my name and greet me as a friend when I enter. If you read through this review you are probably considering using their services, with that said you should be aware that they are cash only.“

“I took my white gabardine jacket to Blue Ribbon to be cleaned and was using them for the first time. It was stained and dirty and thought it would never be wearable again. It turned out beautiful and totally wearable! Thank you Blue Ribbon...I'll be back!“

I’ve been using them for my wash and fold and not only is it convenient but they always have a smile and cost is very reasonable. All my clothes come out perfect. They are extremely accommodating when it comes to any level of dirty clothes, I gave them a very filthy muddy sports uniform from playing in terrible conditions. “I brought my wedding dress here to be hemmed at the last minute. I had made an appointment with a seamstress in another dry-cleaners for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, only to have the seamstress be on vacation when I showed up. I needed my dress back in a week, and tried several places, all with seamstresses on vacation.

When I walked into Bright Star and they told me the seamstress wouldn't be back until next week, I sobbed. It wouldn't be enough time to get my dress hemmed. The lovely woman running the dry-cleaners asked if I would be okay with her pinning it and getting it to the seamstress to do as a rush. Not only was I okay with it, she saved the day. The dress was perfectly hemmed and pressed and Bright Star really pulled through for me.“

I had the sleeves on a blazer shortened and I was nervous because there was a slit and buttons on the cuffs so she had to take them up by removing the sleeves off the shoulders and it came out perfect.“
