He was knowledgeable and, instead of cloning my old failing chip, generated a new one, so any future issues will point to the immobilizer, not the key. A new remote fob (which feels more durable than the old one), with cutting and programming included, came out under $150 — a huge difference from what the competition charges for similar jobs.
