“Bov is incredible with the pets she grooms. She provides individual care and her facility isn’t an assembly line where multiple pets are being worked on at the same time. She is so patient with each pet and allows them to walk around and get comfortable with her. And when she’s grooming them, she allows the owner to stay with their pet to keep the pet comfortable. We originally brought our then 14 year old dog to her that had become very skittish with the grooming process due to his declining health. She was so wonderful with him that when we adopted two pomskies, she was our first choice for a groomer. One of our pomskies is very nervous and suffers from anxiety, and by the time she was done with him, he was giving her kisses and was very happy. In addition, she has a very accommodating schedule. I highly recommend Dog Bath and Beyond.“

“Island pet resort saved my family vacation, they acomodated my puppy last minute and took a good care of him.
My 7 month old pup was scared of strangers and kind of aggressive toward everyone but us. I booked in home petsitter in advanced and decided to try it for one day before vacation. . After one day she cancelled my booking for boarding due to my puppy aggressive behavior, leaving me with no options right before vacation.
I called Island resort and they invite us for meet and greet same day. My dog was terrified and tried to bite them at first but manager calmed him down and was able to handle him with a few minutes, absolutely professional and knows how to handle difficult dogs.
They sent me videos and pictures of my puppy every day, and I can see he made a few friends and become social with staff and other dogs. Good boarding place with good people. And honestly their price is the most affordable in Staten Island.
I will recomend this place and definatelly will use them again.“

“My dog Miles hasn’t been to a groomer in 2 years. He used to have no problem going until a groomer sliced his paw open. Ever since he’s been anxious and aggressive to the point that no groomer would take him. Then I found NJ Dog Barbers from an article and decided to take a chance. He’s been so matted and uncomfortable for weeks and I just don’t trust myself not to cut him by accident. Today they worked a miracle. He looks like a new dog! And they were willing to work with him in spite of his issues. The groomer was so kind! And I know despite his behavior my dog was appreciative because he’ll usually start barking and going off when I come to pick him up if he doesn’t like somebody but he was completely quiet and calm as I paid and left. These guys are lifesavers!“

“This review is specifically for the invisible electric dog fence, so I don't know much more about the company. Having said that, Mike came out to troubleshoot our broken electric fence line. He was punctual, knowledgeable and resolved the issue. I would definitely use them again if needed.“
