I am very pleased to write this recommendation for Colossus HVAC Company. Mr. Nick Komninakis, proprietor of the company, gave a very fair price with a senior citizen discount for the complete revamp of the HVAC systems of our home as follows, which included quality equipment and expert labor: Downstairs zone...Installation of a York R410A 13 Seer 3.5 ton condenser and coil, TXV, York 80,000 Btu 95% furnace, removal of existing, flush line set, electrical modifications, all modifications to fit new equipment Upstairs zone...Installation of a York R410A 13 Seer 3.5 ton condenser and air handler, txv, removal of existing, flush line set, electrical modifications, all modifications to fit new equipment Navien NFC 250/200H tankless combi boiler, accessories and kits, removal of existing, all modifications to fit new equipment Nick was very responsive to our phone calls and texts. He and his son James did an outstanding job as a team in a timely fashion. Also, they were courteous, reliable, friendly and customer oriented. Additionally, Nick guaranteed that he stands behind his work. He goes the extra mile to take care of his customers in doing additional work not in the contract at no further cost. I understand that Colossus HVAC also provides discounts for veterans. I recommend Nick and James and their Colossus HVAC Company very highly.

Beware of these people especially Nick. Installed oversized central ac,air handler in attic (diffent size) faces the OUTSIDE toward the gutters making it very diificult to repair,condensor is only 6" from foundation,drain from air handler is not pitch enough allowing water to remain, charged me sales tax on unit as opposed to capital improvement,chinched on the copper tubing from condensor starting at 3/8 and then go to 1/4 only to mention a few . The man came once just after installation in April of 2021 and said it was freon and charged $300 cash and 2nd year came back and charged $400 and installed more but to no avail it would not work. When he was leaving he stated it would take 4-5 hours to cool which was complete non sense Because of his ignorance on the installation I am purchasing another unit from a competant company with excellent rep. from my neighbors. Please do not used this company. I do not know how this company can stay in business for 50 years.Please do not hire these people. This 5 star posted rating is bullshit because number one or 0 will not post
