From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly honest. I had been dealing with a toilet that had rocked back and forth ever since it was installed a year ago. Another company had repeatedly told me that it was “the best they could do,” and I just accepted that explanation. Dale took the time to thoroughly inspect everything and immediately found the real problem. He showed me that the previous installer had left a broken toilet flange in place and simply installed a new flange on top of it. Because of that, the flange sat about ¾ to 1 inch above the finished floor instead of being flush, which meant the toilet could never sit securely. Every time someone sat down, it acted like a seesaw, causing the caulk to continually separate. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and showed me the problem before doing any work. What I appreciated most was his honesty. He presented both a temporary fix and the proper permanent solution, but he was upfront that the temporary repair would eventually fail. There was never any pressure—just honest advice and a clear explanation of why the permanent repair was the right way to fix it. The repair was completed perfectly, and for the first time since the toilet was installed, it is completely solid and level. It’s such a relief to know the problem was finally fixed correctly.
