“I was extremely impressed with Dr. Garrett. She was wonderfully kind, professional, patient and knowledgeable. I came in for an exam for a new contact lens prescription and I received the most thorough and comprehensive eye exam I have ever had. She didn't just run the tests and send me out the door with the prescription. After running the tests very carefully, she asked me about my habits around contact lenses, then she fetched me a sample to wear and try out on the charts, just to be sure she got it right. We ended up adjusting the prescription after I tried the contacts in the office.I can't speak to the selection of frames in the store, but Dr. Garrett's exams are top notch, 10/10.“

“Our family has used Sterling Optical for glasses for probably 6yrs. I personally struggle with Intractable Migraine Disease, which means that my vision has gotten worse every year, especially this last year. Aurora P,uentes, in the 13th Ave. store was amazing to work with. She was VERY educated on Neurological Disorders and was able to educate me on how my lenses should be made, as far as different coatings, to creating the bifocals so they gradually blend into reading glasses etc. It was the first pair of glasses that purchased that felt completely normal when I put them on. “I wanted to update this review to reflect on the fact the owner reached out to me and made things right.Original review:Been using eyecare associates for years. This recent experience was different, there was a lack of the personal touch that was there in the past, the whole visit felt rushed.Added to this is the glasses I received do not work for me, I am still forced to switch to readers even with the new pre-scription. When I brought them back today, an hour after i picked them up, the staff was very rude and insisting I was wrong, like i cannot determine if glasses are working for me or not.The only remedy they offered was to have another eye check, which I have to wait almost 2 weeks for. I'm sure it will be another week after that before the new glasses come in. Very poor customer service.“
