On the proposal, I was given a price for the parts, labor, etc. Was told to put down 50% of the total price ($1265) before part would be ordered. I paid 50%. After completion of job, the guy added $44 extra dollars for taxes and $380 for coolant (to the second 50%) even though they knew very little coolant was in my system from the first guy coming out to access my AC. (Paid $170 for that guy). The second guy did call his boss after completing the job, and they said not to add the $380. I feel like a proposal should include the entire price. Batts saved us on a Saturday with 90 degree temps & a non-working a/c in our rental unit. The tech, Tim, showed up quickly, fixed the issue & was very professional. They also didn’t charge us exorbitant prices for an emergency visit. Highly recommend!Service: HVAC system repair
