120 Coxe Ave, Asheville“My experiences with Lillah (from a year long class 12 years ago and in a 3 month online course recently) have always been amazing. She has a depth of knowledge of the body as well as all parts of yoga (including breathing practice and yoga philosophy). She is so articulate in her teaching to help me find my way in my body. My experience is that I find unity and grace in my body-mind-spirit with her support.Lillah is also a true scholar!! I have seen her add more knowledge over time to her already impressive mastery. She cares and she shares her journey to benefit all. Lillah makes a different.“

Owner Maureen is a gifted instructor with a wealth of knowledge and experience, and as a result, she has a watchful eye, a data bank of clear and effective cues and a supportive healing presence that facilitates the entire process. She is also skilled at working with injuries and can offer a highly effective therapeutic approach when it is needed. Highly recommend!“

I have been particularly impressed with the quality of the teachers, their understanding of the body, and their ability to make accommodations for the pain associated with the aging process. Thanks to Lynn, Jayne and Randy for always making me feel like they are teaching a class just for me.“

211 S Liberty St, Asheville“Took Sean Johnson's Bahkti flow class and it was on a different level. Amazing at setting the tone for the class, started with some chanting which I usually struggle with but it felt very natural with him. He opened up the mind with concepts of voice and artistry. Flowed perfectly into movements and finished off very peacefully. Would highly recommend.“

50 Crystal June Ln, Asheville“My wife and I had been very stressed and i decided to surprise her with a trip. We run a business together, live together, and sleep together. Can get stressful. I had suggested we try tantra, and she was apprehensivly open to the idea. I desided to just go for it. I called Tantric Retreat and the phone was answered by Jess. We immediately had some sort of connection and my wife and she had alot of past history in common. I sheepishly told my wife about my conversation and asked her to call Jess. She was very nervous but Jess answered her questions and concerns. My wife said to book it. We spent 2 days at Denise and John's home 3, 3hr sessions were booked. Turned into 2, 3hrs a 2 hr, and they added an extra hour the next morning. Denise gave us a yoga session just because. My wife had always wanted me to do that with her. They have a temple in their basement for your pesonal quarters. However they welcome you freely in the other area of their home. These people are so open and welcoming, tailor the sessions to your specific needs. The sessions were amazing and have brought my wife and i so much closer together. No turmoil, tension, or stress in our home any longer. We built a sacred space in our home in the days after we departed. We use it daily before we go to work and meditate together. And most days, the evenings for the more adventurous aspects. These people truly changed our lives and relationship in a way i never dreamed possible. I would recommend them without reservation to any couple that wants to take their relationship to a level they never thought possible, or needs to resolve past issues and heal. It will do both. Its not all about sex, and nothing out of your comfort zone happens or is discussed with your practitioner. Those issues and things are called homework. Do it! It works if you give it your all. My wife and i no longer have hallway sex, but are studying for a doctorate in happiness, bliss, and ecstasy. Just go for it, life changing“

They have detailed knowledge of the subtleties of every pose and are skilled in communicating their instructions in a way that is informative and respectful. They are clearly well educated and dedicated and I trust them implicitly to help guide me in proper alignment and maximum stretch. It feels so good to be doing yoga once again. Thank you, Purna!“

“I love everything about Weaverville Yoga. First, they have the best teachers. In particular, I have been lucky to be a student of Barbara's for more than a year. She's very knowledgeable, attentive, giving, and fun. A true angel. The studio is spacious, very well-equipped, clean, quiet, and has a lot of large windows. They offer classes every day, all day long, for all different types of students. The location is very convenient, and the parking is never a problem. The fees are reasonable and they offer several pricing options.“
