I am sending voluminous THANKS to all those Smoky Mountain Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy therapists that got me through a full shoulder replacement in less time and with more success than most would think possible at my age. On the 4th of August I was able to play 18 holes of golf with no pain, no strain, just lots of fun outdoors with good friends. That was my goal and Smoky Mountain Sports got that done for me. All the therapists that worked with me are professionally excellent and actually became friends of sorts during the rehab period. Lots of laughter during a hard recovery. With Carlyle leading the pack, he and the staff got me back on the golf course (and paddling on the river) and I am forever thankful to all of them. And a huge Thank You to Dr. Gates and his staff at Harris Orthopedics for their surgical excellence and their collaboration with Smoky Mountain Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy to get me back to enjoying activities that I was not sure I would ever be able to enjoy again.“
