The doctor was so personable. He’s old school and really listens. He spent a lot of time with ME, not rushing in and out tending to others. He addressed every concern from my mental health to my physical health. It was my first time with him and I asked him if I could hug him. He reminded me of my dad and was caring like a dad. I switched from a young bouncy PA in Clayton who chastised me and talked to me like a child when I could be her mom or at a minimum and older sister to someone who is mature and has great bedside manner.
New to the area. Fantastic experience with Dr. Sicking for my annual physical, some lab work done on site with immediate feedback during the exam and blood work back in a day or so with a personal call back to go over the results by the physician! That is a rarity in today's medical practices. Dr. Sicking also gave me some recommendations for seasonal allergies. Gabbie (sp) in the front office is friendly and efficient.
If you want a doctor that spends the time and energy to actually listen to you and is thorough in his examinations, Dr. Sicking is the doctor for you! I've gotten so tired of doctors that just want to deal with the first few words you say, without hearing the whole story or asking any questions, and get you out of their office within minutes, after you spend an hour waiting. Dr. Sicking is a breath of fresh air. He schedules enough time to really get to know and try to help his patients. He even does his own blood draws and calls you himself with the results!
