If you live in the Wake Forest or Rolesville area and are looking for a doctor who truly goes above and beyond, I cannot recommend Dr. Sicking at Wakefield Internal Medicine highly enough.
From day one, the experience has been a complete breath of fresh air. During my initial appointment, Dr. Sicking spent two full hours getting to know me, listening attentively, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of all the medical issues I’m managing. He is remarkably thorough, exceptionally smart, and never makes you feel rushed. Thanks to his expertise, he identified a much better preventive treatment for my asthma—focusing on preventing attacks before they happen rather than just reacting to them—which has been life-changing. I no longer have to carry an inhaler with me everywhere I go!
The level of accessibility and personal care here is practically unheard of in modern medicine. When you call the office, Dr. Sicking answers the phone himself a majority of the time. Not having to navigate an endless automated phone tree just to speak with your physician makes a world of difference.
A big shout-out as well to the wonderful staff member working alongside him in the clinic—she is incredibly kind, warm, and always a complete pleasure to speak with.
