“I cannot say enough good things about the care we received from Andy and his wife, Laurie, at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home.<br><br>We initially contacted them about a year ago to financially preplan services for my elderly father. From our very first conversation, Andy was responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. We met with him a few days later, and he walked us through the entire process, answered all of our questions, and provided a detailed price sheet so we could thoughtfully choose the services that were right for our family.<br><br>At the time, we were also navigating the Medicaid application and spend-down process. Andy’s years of experience and knowledge were invaluable. He helped us understand our options, stay within our budget, and completed the necessary documentation for the Medicaid application. At no point did we ever feel rushed, pressured, or encouraged to spend more than we could afford. Instead, we always felt that Andy genuinely wanted to help us make the best decisions for our family.<br><br>When my father passed away, Andy and Laurie continued to care for us with the same kindness and compassion they had shown from the beginning. They handled every detail, including coordinating the military honors service, obtaining the flag to drape over my father’s casket, creating a lovely full color memorial program, and of course preparing him for burial. They made an incredibly difficult time feel more manageable by taking care of the details and allowing our family to focus on grieving and being together.<br><br>Andy and Laurie treated my father and our entire family with tremendous dignity, respect, and compassion.
