“From walking in the door I was quite impressed and comfortable. I had a broken bone. Check in was quick. I was in a room within 15 minutes. The Nurse and X-Ray Tech were professional and thorough. I was in pain. They took great care in assuring I was treated, splinted, and back out of there promptly. All my questions were answered. They put me in touch with a specialist for further treatment.“

“Last week, I cut one of my fingers with a box cutter. At first I applied a steri-strip, and wrapped a band aid around it. That lasted for about 15 minutes until blood came oozing out....I opted to go to Urgent Care...what a great decision!

I was taken to a patient room within 5 minutes, saw a nurse within another 2 minutes. She was proud of me for coming in, and not attempting to use super glue to seal up the wound. (Apparently her husband avoided stitches and used the latter method. LOL)

A PA came into the room about 30 minutes later. He gave me nerve block medicine, then proceeded to apply 6 stitches to hold the wound closed. During the whole time, he stayed with me, and had wonderful calming conversations.

“Dr. Mell and his staff especially the girls that work at the desk I can't specifically say one because they're all great and some are bilingual so no problem there but they're so very very friendly and helpful every time I call they answer every question to the best of their knowledge. I believe that they all go above and beyond their job just like Dr Mel and him I can't speak enough of. They are so kind and helpful I have to say that he's has the best doctor's office that I have ever gone to in all the years I've been going to doctors from New York to Georgia living down here in NC for the past 15 years this is definitely the best doctor's office. Dr Mell is definitely the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure, yes pleasure because it is a pleasure and a privilege to know him. He sits and listens to you actually spends quality time listening to your problems so he's part my psychiatrist too LOL. He doesn't just yes you to death ya know?? Like most doctors do. He's an amazing doctor and I do and have always highly recommended him to my closest friends. I am more than happy and if it wasn't for this doctor and his staff, every single one of his staff I don't think I would be able to function. [God's honest truth!!] Not only do they help me to do my job physically but mentally they have helped me more than they will ever know I am so grateful to have found this family in this doctor's office. I can't say enough about each and every one of them. I actually look forward to going to the doctor instead of dreading it since I started going to see Dr. Mel. I'm sure he is proud of his staff I don't know the name of all of them but they all need a raise because they all go above and beyond their job. I have even had them call me after hours to let me know if a prescription went through or if a specialist was given a referral so I can call to make an appointment they run this office like clockwork always on time and very very respectful. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart because they have saved me many many times. So thank you Dr Mel and the girls so so much you guys are a lifesaver and you don't even know it. I actually do remember one name because she's been there since day one and her name is Yvette so thank you from the bottom of my heart!! God for people like you in this world. If everybody was like you guys this world would be a better place to live in.
