“I closed on my retirement home in Calabash. I was referred by a friend in the area and chose Ann Glodfelty. Ann was a true professional. We visited multiple properties in days. Ann listened to my needs and shared her thoughts in a very direct and professional way! Ann also provided contacts for all the utility companies in the area, to include the county and local points of interest for a new owner. Ann provided a professional home inspector and mortgage representative. Ann also pushed for additional funding upon completion of the home owners inspection to insure the home owner paid more on inspection findings. A true professional in every sense of the word. I would highly recommend Ann moving forward for your realtor needs. Thank you Kind Regards Richard“

“We have only been working with Jayne for just a little under a year as we are starting the process of planning for retirement/relocation to the North Carolina area, and she has been amazing. While Jayne came highly recommended to us, she has surpassed our expectations with her honesty, professionalism, and responsiveness. Our emails and texts are answered within minutes!! Her wealth of knowledge of the area and current trends in the industry are immensely helpful. We are looking forward to working with Jayne as we transition to our next chapter and lastly - she is a very nice person!!“

“Lauren was referred to me by a friend and she was the best gift they could have given me. She was so responsive and helpful in each step of the buying process. Not only did she find the perfect home for me, she continued to go above and beyond, even after the sale was secured. I have worked with many realtors over the years of buying and selling homes and Lauren is simply the best. 5 stars does not even seem like enough. I will refer her to everyone I know who is looking to buy or sell in the region.“

“We had the pleasure of purchasing a condo in Sunset Beach through Tami Rash. The entire process was seamless, much in part to Tami's professionalism, attention to detail, and communication. We could not have asked for a better experience purchasing a second home, and we would 100% use Tami for any future purchases.“

“I moved from Philadelphia to Leland, NC in June of 2023 and after about 6 months, I was looking to buy a home. I spoke to a friend of mine, and he said the typical, “Give my guy a call. He’s been a relator in NC forever.” To which I replied, “Yeah, yeah…everyone has a guy.”Since my friend was in the market for an $800,000 home versus my measly $260,000 budget, I didn’t want to bother his, “important” guy with my small-time purchase.Anyway, as soon as I spoke to his, “guy”, Mitch, he was happy to answer all my questions without me even asking him to be my realtor. He made sure to take his time with me and make sure I understood everything we spoke about. Then he said he was available to speak any time and make calls on my behalf if I needed him to.I had no intention of taking him on as my realtor at that time, but it was either his knowledge or the smooth-talking southern accent that drew me in. I met with him and his coworker Sabrina a couple weeks later to get their opinions on a property. Honestly, I felt like I had family members with me walking around the property and neighborhood. They were giving me the good, the bad and everything in between on the home, the area, the land, the weather, the builder, the rain runoff, the past information on the land and the future plans of the land nearby. And then I remembered my friend saying, “He’s been a realtor in NC forever.” Let me tell you, it shows. Mitch either knows the person, worked with the person, or helped a person connected to every house in this area. (Wilmington/Brunswick County, NC) Which may or may not come in handy during negotiations on a price…. Ok, ok, it helps, I saw it firsthand.Mitch and Sabrina both kept in contact with me and were available for questions even when I went to look at properties on my own. I did not feel pressured to use them as my realtor(s), I really felt like they were just my go to team for questions. It was at that point I went to them and let them know if I was going to buy a house, I knew the commission wouldn’t be much, but I wanted to make sure they were with me.I said all that to say this, buying a house is an extremely important and stressful time. Going through the process with Mitch and Sabrina made me realize what southern hospitality and southern relaxation is all about. Just hearing Mitch’s voice say, “You want me to give them a call?” kept the inner Philly girl from coming out.So, now I have a great home, at a lower price than others in the neighborhood. <Wink wink> I have new friends and a realtor for when I’m looking to buy my next house, hopefully in the $800,000s and I owe my buddy a nice bottle of whiskey for telling me about his, “guy.”“

“Kelly at Starheel properties went above a beyond to help us get booked for our vacation. Very helpful! As far as our stay at 1115 Crow Creek Dr, it was just okay. It was roomy enough for our group but not accommodating as far as towels & wash cloths for everyone. We booked 8 and were only given 6. Luckily there was a washer & dryer so I was able to accommodate everyone. There was trash left in drawers, no dust pan, no can opener, there was an airplane bottle between the fridge & counter. Food left in the window of the master bedroom. The tv in the master has no way of being watched. No cable, antenna or anything. I did reach out to the property manager but never heard back. The cleaners left an envelope asking for tips, which would’ve been fine had they actually cleaned it.“
