I moved from Philadelphia to Leland, NC in June of 2023 and after about 6 months, I was looking to buy a home. I spoke to a friend of mine, and he said the typical, “Give my guy a call. He’s been a relator in NC forever.” To which I replied, “Yeah, yeah…everyone has a guy.”Since my friend was in the market for an $800,000 home versus my measly $260,000 budget, I didn’t want to bother his, “important” guy with my small-time purchase.Anyway, as soon as I spoke to his, “guy”, Mitch, he was happy to answer all my questions without me even asking him to be my realtor. My wife and I are new to North Carolina. We fell in love with the Brunswick County beaches while visiting a couple of years ago. We contacted Nolan Payne from Carolina Plantations Real Estate and asked him to show us the area. He really took the time to help us find communities that were a great fit for us. Once my wife and I selected our favorite neighborhoods Nolan was there to help us search for our dream house. He answered all of our questions and gained our trust and respect. We appreciate the countless hours that Nolan spent helping us find the perfect house.
