I have many health issues and see specialists at both Duke and UNC but work with John because 1.He is always prepared to see me by reviewing notes and history. 2. He explains things in detail or basic terms. 3. He advices me on the pluses and minuses of alternative approaches both surgical, (he is a board certified MD). 4. Answers questions with researched based info and real world experience. 5. Appointments are not difficult to book and on-line check in works well. 6. Appointments are never rushed!

This should not be a surprise as he has been trained in the top ortho/sports medicine institutions and still acts like a regular guy!!“

I accompanied my parent, who uses a wheelchair, and Shannon demonstrated outstanding bedside manner, patient, respectful, and attentive to my parent’s mobility needs. The facility was well equipped, with wheelchairs readily available, an easy check-in process for both walk-ins and scheduled appointments, and an ample, comfortable waiting area.“
