Triangle Springs

Triangle Springs Behavioral Health Hospital offers inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming. The facility really helped save lives, treating patients with dignity and respect from the moment of assessment. Staff members were very good at making patients feel better, with several staff members treating patients with respect and being very understanding. The staff and doctors were terrific, rooms were great, food was awesome, and staff truly treats patients with respect. Patients had access to TV, cards, games, daily therapy groups, outside time several times a day, and smoke breaks. The facility is considered by far the best psych hospital and detox facility in the Triangle. For those seeking medical detox, this place will technically work. The medication worked well, adjustments were made as needed, and there were standing orders for different meds. Food was honestly not that bad. However, this is a lockdown psych ward where substance abuse patients and psych inpatients are housed together in the program, not a fancy, cozy, comfy rehab. The place is best only for med management, with no individualized therapy and short sessions with the psychiatrist. Overall, Triangle Springs is like any other psych ward, not any better nor much worse than any other.
