No one gets excited about colonoscopy’s, in fact, most of us probably get a little nervous. Spiked heart rates, fear of finding something that leads to colon cancer and even being “put under” on anesthesia. I was referred to this practice by a relative and am so glad I did. I traveled from Florida to NC because I wanted this visit to be personal and not like the cattle call consultation I felt in Florida. From the moment I made the appointment with Gastrointestinal Healthcare, I felt like a patient where my well being was their first priority. I highly recommend Gastrointestinal Healthcare. Dr. Cvetkovski is kind and compassionate, as well as his incredible staff. Dr. C is a top tiered physician as he trained at NYU Med School and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center/Cornell University Medical Center. He stays on the leading edge of GI research. He never rushes me in office visits. During colonoscopies He is empathetic and turns the procedure into a stress free experience. I feel I am in good hands with Dr. C- a personable, proficient physician, and his wonderful nurses.
I'd never had a colonoscopy before, and I had no idea what clinic to choose. As I was Googling, I came across GastroIntestinal Healthcare and had a gut feeling that this was the place. Dr. Cvetkovski was fantastic, and his amazing team (Shelly, Deborah & Jennifer) were there to make sure everything went smoothly, and they got me in and out of there in no time. Bottom line? I was a little worried going in, but in the end, everything went great!
