About Carolina Foot & Ankle Specialists
Carolina Foot & Ankle Specialists, led by Dr. Dhagash Pankaj Patel, provides friendly and caring service. The staff, including nurses and front office personnel, are pleasant and work with insurance companies. Patients report little to no waiting time and easy appointment scheduling. Dr. Patel listens to all questions, explains procedures in detail, and provides excellent pre and post-operative care. He has helped with bone spur removal, foot surgery, and arthroscopic procedures for chronic ankle issues. Many patients are 100% satisfied with their outcomes, noting better range of motion and feeling in their feet. However, one patient reported a negative experience with toenail trauma and removal. After two years, the nail barely grew back and was abnormal. A different male doctor briefly stated there was no nail bed and offered only maintenance or permanent removal, providing no further help. That patient would not recommend the office for nail issues. Overall, the business is highly recommended for foot and ankle care, though nail procedures may be a concern for some.
Dr. Patel and his staff were caring and made you feel comfortable. The front office staff were also very pleasant to deal with. Dr Patel listened to all your questions and explained in detail so you would understand. He performed surgery on my foot and I could not ask for better care. He explained in detail what he would do and what I should expect post surgery. He provided excellent pre & post op care. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his staff - very pleasant and will provide great care.

Have you ever walked in a room and felt that you were being talked about? Well it happened here. Before exiting I stopped by the receptionist desk. My doctor was also there. As I approached the 2 receptionists and doctor looked at me and laughed. The doctor walked away then returned and asked if I watched “ Yellowjacket”. I supposingly looked like someone on the show. The doctor then left. Having never heard of show, I acquired about the character. The receptionist then stated that she didnt watch the show.
