“Zoey was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in April 29, 2016. She was almost 12 years old at the time. My vet told us that if we didn't amputate the leg and do chemotherapy, we would be euthanizing her in 30 days. Given that she had the beginnings of hip dysplasia, amputating her front leg would have been a death sentence. I refused to accept a cancer death sentence for my sweet girl.
