Then thier employees cane out professional, very hard working and did GREAT Job!!! They cut huge tree that was close to building and power lines and trimmed up another tree down a hill and cleaned up every bit of it. AMAZING JOB!! Those guys did not stop until it was finished!! Thank You so much!!!

This is a bit long, but we just passed our one-year anniversary living in our new SD Jessup custom home and have a lot to share. Briefly, the whole experience during the design-build process and enjoying the quality and performance of the home has far exceeded any expectations we had.
Some key take aways:
First, you are not going to find a home builder more passionate about high performance homes than Shawn and his team. They strive to make every home they build better than the last by incorporating learnings from prior builds and staying on top of the latest innovations in building science and energy efficiency. They will only build homes that are durable (moisture and air sealed), well ventilated and energy efficient (insulated). The good news is they know how to get this performance at a reasonable cost. If you want even more efficiency, they will help you understand the tradeoff between the marginal benefit gained versus the additional cost of each option.
Second, the design and specification process before the final contract was extremely valuable. We highly recommend spending some time in this stage when it is relatively inexpensive to make changes to ensure you get exactly what you want. Just bring them your house and floor plan ideas and watch them create a home plan that ensures high performance, and value-added details are built into every aspect of the home. Coming out of this process, everything was spec’d including our allowances which kept us within budget during the entire build.
The build stage was completed in under a year and our project manager was awesome during the build. Very experienced, actively engaged with the trade partners and on top of the details. Communication was always transparent and timely through the co-construct system or just a call away. One of the things that really impressed us was the hands-on experience Shawn’s team brings to the table. When needed, they stepped in to tackle some jobs to keep the project moving or to install a specialty item we wanted like a cast stone fireplace surround. The quality of work was always top notch. One other aspect of the build we must mention is that the HVAC engineering, duct work, install and final balancing during startup was meticulous. At multiple stages of the build, the HVAC engineer audited and certified the home’s energy efficiency.
Lastly, living the home has been a dream. Every time we walk in, we can feel and hear the difference. It is quiet and comfortable. The Indoor Air Quality is perfectly balanced, monitored and automatically maintained throughout the house. The temperature, humidity, CO2, VOC, and PMs are always within healthy levels and our sleep quality is better than ever.
We will definitely use S D Jessup again and recommend anyone interested in building a home, remodeling or just wanting help with a design to put them on your short list.

I have tanned here for YEARS!!! One lady stated something about “old bulbs” um no. These are the best bulbs and beds and I always achieve a good tan fast. If you have an issue address it with staff and they always fix any issue(they aren’t in the beds 24/7 yall). I used to tan in Winston and it was a waste. I’ll never go anywhere else

One of the most stressful things when moving was finding a new Vet for our pups. We hit the jackpot when we found Pilot Mountain Animal Hospital. Dr Wilkins and his sweet wife Teresa are caring and kind, our dogs sure love them. The entire staff is wonderful. We have complete confidence in them and feel grateful to have found them.
