“(Updated) So, after two years and two bad experiences, i decided to give this establishment another try. I just had a haircut from Michelle, and she was amazing. The haircut was great, and there were no mistakes and I was in and out within minutes. She was quite the professional and uplifted my spirits after a stressful week. Thank you Michelle for a great experience today.So the first time I ever came here was about a year ago… I had just moved into the area, and thought I would give them a try. Sadly I left disappointed… There was only one female who said she was a manager of sorts, and since nobody was there I was serviced quickly. But after leaving my significant other noted that they did a terrible job. Wasn’t what I had described, and the line around my ears was noticeably uneven, as if she had gone too high on one side and you could see it from a far…Here I am a year later, figuring I would give them a second chance. I downloaded their app this time thinking it would be more convenient, as well as a more complete experience of whatever they offer, but alas I was disappointed again. I checked in with the app and it was confirmed, the app told me to notify them when I had arrived. When I arrived there was one woman cutting someone’s hair but nobody else that I could see. I was asked to check in via putting my phone number into one of their machines, I did seven press entered, not much happened, so I sat down… When she had finished that persons hair, she checked in with me and two other gentleman, asked our names, and said that I was not on the list. This is the Morrisville location, I checked it on the map as well as the address so I am confident I was in the right place..When she asked me if I checked in online I pointed my phone screen at her and said yes, and she said well you’re not in the system and asked me to try again… At that point the wait time went from 15 minutes to 55 minutes, and I was not about to wait that long…(Interestingly enough, I also received an email receipt for service I did not get… SMH)“
“I called and the scheduler was able to schedule me an appointment right away. My stylist, Sangita, spoke with me about my hair before she started cutting. I explained that my hair was finally growing back after receiving thyroid treatments. As she cut my hair, she continually asked for feedback. Sangita did an excellent job. It is the first time I have have bangs in over 2 years. She was so meticulous with my haircut. She also showed me how to style my hair, particularly my new bangs. So if you are a person with special hair needs, I strongly recommend Sangita at the Morrisville Fantastic Sams. She will attend to your needs with kindness and understanding. Thank you, Sangita.“
“Our usual hair place is being renovated. So, I took my son to Sharkey’s for the first time. I did some research before we went and when I booked the appointment I chose Elizabeth as my son’s hair stylist.When we arrived, Elizabeth was very welcoming. My son got to choose what vehicle to sit in for his haircut. Small things like that really make a difference. Elizabeth listened to my suggestions on how to do the haircut. She talked with my son the entire time which, kept him occupied (so did the TV, stickers, balloons etc!) Periodically, Elizabeth made sure to use a hair dryer to remove the bits of hair off my son. Which he was so happy about! She was very efficient with time. We both loved the outcome of the haircut he got. My son really liked Sharkey’s and asked to go back and see Elizabeth next haircut.“
