The training is both fun and challenging, helping to build confidence, discipline, and strength. We’re grateful for the positive experience and highly recommend this school to anyone looking to start or advance their Taekwondo journey!
I want to highlight the instructor incredible ability to connect with every child. Even if a student is just beginning to learn English as a second language and doesn’t speak it yet, it’s never a barrier—my kids run to class with excitement! Thank you, Mr.Shorey, for your patience and dedication!

R.T. Berry School of Tae Kwon Do – We ❤️ Master Best
Our family has had such a positive experience at R.T. Berry School of Tae Kwon Do. Both of my toddlers absolutely love going! Like most little ones, they have their moments—sometimes they want to do their own thing—but Master Best handles it beautifully. She’s firm yet kind, and helps them stay focused while still having fun. It’s been amazing to watch them grow in confidence and discipline.
We started with the free trial class, which was a fantastic way to get a feel for the program. My son began at 2 years old and is now in the 3-year-old class, and my daughter is currently in the Tigers class for 2-year-olds. The monthly tuition doesn’t offer sibling discounts, but the free trial really helped us make the right choice without pressure. Uniforms are also reasonably priced.
The staff is always welcoming and greets the kids by name—even our baby, who’s not enrolled yet! The community here is wonderful. They’re active on social media and also work with a local mommy group to offer affordable intro classes where parents get to join their little ones on the mat. It’s such a special bonding experience and a great way to ease into things.
The only minor downside is personal—I have sensitive sinuses, and sometimes they flare up in the space, but that hasn’t taken away from how much we enjoy coming.
One small suggestion: it would be great to see more parents pitch in to help keep the space tidy. I’ve noticed items left behind here and there, and I know the staff works hard—so a little extra effort from all of us would go a long way. Just something to consider as we all share the space together.
Overall, we’re incredibly pleased with our experience. Master Best is absolutely amazing and has created a space that’s supportive, structured, and full of heart. We’re so grateful to be part of it!“
