“This place rocks! First of all, I'd like to state that the Shorey family that runs this establishment are top shelf people. The kind of folks you want to be around... friendly, helpful, fun, accommodating. Flexible, adventurous, etc... Such a class act. This place is wonderful for absolutely every single person. Everyone can do this if they want to. The Shorts are very knowledgeable in what they do and they meet each person where they are at upon entering. It's a very uplifting vibe, they aren't the type of hard core, screaming, rigid instructors that many of us fear. Yikes!! The main instructor, Mike (Mr. Shorey), I believe is a black belt level and his wife and son also contribute at the school. Jason, the son, also teaches and he's been involved in this sport since he was very small. They just instill the kind of values all families (most) want around their own families. They are honest, hard working, realistic. It's such a positive fun vibe and, like I said, you can be a basic couch potato who walks less than 50 steps a day and there's still a place for you here. It's definitely something that everyone one should give a try, at least once... you never know... and it's an excellent thing for parents to do with and for their children. Teaches discipline, patience. Respect, sportsmanship, team building... on and on and on. I can't sing enough praises. It's not often you come across a place like this that isn't cliquey... there's no mean girl/ tough guy gym dude vibes here at all. It's relaxing and chill. Love love ❤!!!“
