My Trane packaged AC unit had an intermittent problem where the outdoor fan would stop after running for a couple of days. It was a difficult issue to diagnose because the system would work again after being reset.
Gene came out while the unit was actually acting up, took the time to properly troubleshoot it, and correctly diagnosed a failed fan motor. He didn’t try to sell me unnecessary repairs or guess at the problem. He explained what he found, picked up the replacement motor the very next day, and had my AC back up and running quickly.
I really appreciated his honesty, prompt communication, and willingness to solve the actual problem instead of just replacing random parts. It’s hard to find technicians who take the time to diagnose an issue correctly, and Gene did exactly that.
