Total Being Yoga Yoga

“Had never been to yoga before, and I’m so glad I gave this studio a try. I love the welcoming atmosphere and the smaller class sizes—they make it feel personal and comfortable, especially for beginners. There’s a great variety of classes for all levels, so it’s easy to find what fits you. The app makes signing up super convenient, and I really like that they offer virtual classes too. It’s been a very positive experience, and I genuinely enjoy coming here.“

Club Pilates Yoga

“I LOVE Matthews Club Pilates. The instructors are excellent. I especially enjoy Diann's, Landyn's , and Rocio's class. They offer a good mix of challenging moves (that they offer accommodations for those of varying levels) interspersed with crucial stretching. This is the ONE thing I have been able to stick with...at 800 classes now. I think it is the welcoming atmosphere and lovely administrators, teachers, and really fun fellow students. If you are looking for a workout that you actually enjoy going to, a place to challenge your body, and a good group of encouraging folks...this is the place for you!“

“I have joined club pilates Strawberry hills for 6+ months now and I am so happy! I love the studio. It is a small studio with 12 reformers if I am not mistaken. The classes vary and give you great options. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make the classes fun and motivating! They always help when a modification is needed. I have recently taken classes with Ro and I love her classes! She is fantastic and so is Stacey! Alise is an amazing instructor as well; especially for your first classes. She really teaches you how to do the exercises correctly without getting hurt. If you have doubts about Pilates don't! This location is fantastic. Just book an intro class. You will be happy you did!“

“I love Matthews Yoga Collective! Living in Matthews there weren’t a ton of class options and I stumbled upon MYC through ClassPass. It is a great spot with the nicest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met at a workout location. Everyone is a mix of ages and levels, so you will never feel left out or behind. My favorite class is the Power Sculpt not only for the workout but Noel is one of the best instructors and people I have ever encountered. She makes class fun and go by fast (in a good way). It is my new must have in my routine because I leave sweating but smiling!“

“I have been doing Pilates for 7 years and it has transformed my mindset for body strength. Each and every class is different and engages the core in different ways. Every instructor I have taken classes from brings solid expertise and body awareness to teach us PROPER movement to give us the best strength through movement plus protecting us from moving incorrectly preventing injuries. I highly recommend Michelle who actually teaches the Masters Classes - she is patient, knows the technical aspect, and as a student of Pilates I want to move through each series with precision so I get the mind-body connection needed for strength, growth and physical fitness. There is not one instructor I would not take a class from here at South Providence or Strawberry Hill- these instructors are some of the best in the business!!“

Life Time Yoga

“Update 6/9/2026
I am adding a star since the management put up a poster explaining sauna/spa rules. I would be very happy to add another star if I see the rules enforced

I have been a member at Life Time Golf Links since 2020, and generally enjoy the facility. The club is beautiful, and that is why this experience was so disappointing.

Today I was sitting in the sauna wearing water shoes. A staff member approached me and said that shoes were not allowed. I explained that these were water shoes, not street shoes, and that my understanding of the club rules was that street shoes were prohibited.

The employee then insisted that all shoes were forbidden. I informed him that I would discuss the matter with management after my session because I believed he was mistaken about the policy.

I also explained that I have a disability and rely on the water shoes to move safely around the spa area. Despite this explanation, he continued demanding that I remove them.

The interaction became unnecessarily confrontational and disrupted what was supposed to be a relaxing visit.

Afterward, I spoke with the manager, who handled the situation professionally. She reviewed the issue, contacted corporate for clarification, and called me back within minutes to confirm that I was correct and that the water shoes were permitted.

I appreciate the manager's response. However, members should not have to argue with staff over policies that staff themselves do not understand, especially when disability-related accommodations are involved.“
