About Byars Health Clinic
Byars Health Clinic is a large, modern facility that covers 51,000 square feet and serves around 16,000 people. It offers a wide range of services, including Optometry, Behavioral Health, Physical Therapy, Pharmacology, Radiology, and Laboratory work, all in one place. The staff is known for being friendly, respectful, and efficient, providing patient-centered care for service members, their families, and retirees. Many patients appreciate the quality of care from the providers, especially the doctors and pharmacists, and prefer this clinic over the main hospital. The clinic is consistently praised for being clean and well-maintained. However, a common concern is the long wait times, with appointments often delayed by 2 to 3 months and visits sometimes taking several hours, especially for routine appointments. Patients recommend planning ahead and bringing food due to extended wait times. Despite the delays, the clinic's staff and providers are highly regarded for their professionalism and expertise, making it a trusted choice for many in the community.

I can usually get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time but I've found I either have to call to schedule or go to the front desk, Genesis always says nothing is available for 3+ months. I'm more than happy to go here and will continue to do so until our...read full review
They lack sharing information when needed, having you wait without telling you details you may need to know like “…. is going to be late”. Make things take longer than it should.
I really like this clinic. They’re fairly efficient, fast, and always polite to service members. They have a pharmacy, lab, and a couple of other departments so you can get most of your basic medical needs taken care of under one roof.
