This review is long overdue. I cannot recommend Chrissy enough. I first went in for a haircut with Chrissy in August 2025. I had long thick hair, all the way down to the small of my back, and I wanted to cut it all off. I had been thinking about cutting it for over a year. I had reference photos of exactly what I wanted. I was hoping to get something similar or at least approximating.

Jolie Cheveux of Lexington is an adorable salon situated right off of main street. It shares a private parking lot with a nail salon but there is ample parking on both sides. Upon entering the salon you're greeted with a relaxing but trendy atmosphere. The salon is home to two stylists but it's still very spacious for a small salon. I had my first appointment with Chrissy this morning and I am so happy with the way my hair looks! I'm a stylist as well and in the past I have gone to other stylists and not always been fully satisfied with the results. Needless to say I felt completely at ease as soon as I sat in Chrissy's chair. She understood exactly what I wanted to work towards and knew the things that needed to be corrected. I also fully applaud her ability to juggle several clients at once. She transitioned from client to client so well and made sure we were all taken care of. My service ended up being a color correction due to some work from a previous stylist that had to be fixed. She blended my color melt seamlessly and gave me a great starting point to go even lighter next time. Pricing is on point and worth every bit of it! I can confidently say that I'll most definitely be returning and Chrissy made sure to book my next appointment before I left.
