“First time at this salon; just needed a little shape-up. I'm an ex-stylist who has done her own hair for decades, so I can be a little wary. I'm also new to Lexington and not well versed on where to go. Angie was a sweetheart and very accommodating even when I had to postpone just a few hours before. The salon is in an old craftsman-style bungalow. She took me for a little tour around the place, I'm a fan of old homes. My hair looks great; she does a good job with curly bobs. She even gave me a warm southern hug.“

“I had a great time. It was welcoming, warm, I didn't have to wait after checking in online. My stylist was funny and really considerate as they listened to me fully before starting to cut my hair. They showed me products that would be better for me, how to use them.. I was skeptical, but it works and now I have my shampoo soulmate! The best part is, they guarantee their haircuts so I know if I ever get something that doesn't quite work out for me, they'll fix it. I'll be back soon!

“This review is long overdue. I cannot recommend Chrissy enough. I first went in for a haircut with Chrissy in August 2025. I had long thick hair, all the way down to the small of my back, and I wanted to cut it all off. I had been thinking about cutting it for over a year. I had reference photos of exactly what I wanted. I was hoping to get something similar or at least approximating.

Chrissy spent 30 minutes examining the reference photos and video from all angles, examining the shape of my head thoroughly, and for the first time in my life, I had a stylist tell me exactly how they'd recreate what I want on my head, instead of suggesting something sort of like it. She explained to me small adjustments she'd have to make to get the same effect so it would look the way I wanted.

After the cut, I got home and wanted to cry, because for the first time I left a salon looking EXACTLY how I pictured it in my head, and not sort of like what I wanted or some compromise. She is an artist.

I've been in for numerous touch-ups and through my short hair journey, she has listened to me and the new ways I experiment with styling my hair, and the style continues to evolve.

Earlier this week I went in for a touch up, and she wanted to really get it right so we sat down and looked at pictures online of what I wanted, and again, she accomplished it beautifully on my head.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Chrissy. She's also super sweet and just a pleasure to spend time with.
