My dentist Id gone to all my life retired so I had to find a new one. I had a horrifying experience at the dentist I went to first so I was really nervous about going to my first appointment at Catawba Valley Dental.
Dr. Pate and his staff put me at ease from the front desk to the wonderful hygienist to Dr. Pate himself. They all made me feel like I’d always been a patient there. I have never felt any pain at all no matter what I’m having done. I’m a jokester and Dr Pate didn’t miss a beat picking with me!!! I highly recommend this office!

I can’t say enough kind words about Dr Pate and the Catawba Valley Dental staff as a whole. My primary dentist temporarily lost his office in the flood in my hometown of Morganton. I was having severe pain from an infected molar and I reached out to him and he referred me to Dr Pate. This was at around 4:45 pm on a Thursday. In my experience most dental offices are closed on Fridays so I was dreading having to go through this agony all weekend. However to my surprise Catawba Valley Dental is open on Fridays.
