My wife and I are long time clients of Caitlyn's. In my experience, when you find someone who knocks it out of the park consistently, you keep going back. She's always been flexible with her scheduling and more than fair on her prices. She always makes sure you are satisfied with her work before you leave. It's been at least 13 years, and I'm not planning on switching to someone else unless she gets out of the business. Give her a shot to earn your repeat business.

After falling off my horse, I developed a deep fear of riding and froze during moments where I felt a lack of control—even though my horses were calm and not aggressive. After multiple falls, I became discouraged and stopped riding altogether.
Meeting Cynthia at Folklore Farm changed everything.
Cynthia specializes in helping fearful riders and truly understands trauma responses. She took a thoughtful, step-by-step approach, starting entirely on the ground and gradually rebuilding my confidence at exactly the right pace. She never rushed me, but she gently and confidently encouraged me forward. Because of her, I was able to ride independently again and even go on a trail ride without being led.
Cynthia also stepped in to help with both of my horses. When my first horse was injured and unwanted by others, she took him in, cared for him, helped him heal, and put time and training into him before thoughtfully rehoming him to a wonderful situation. She still shares updates, which means so much. I trusted her enough to also entrust her with my other horse, knowing they would be safe, well cared for, and respected.
She runs a professional, safety-focused operation and has a calm, grounded presence that makes you feel secure. She also taught me the importance of clear boundaries with horses, which protects both the rider and the animal.
