Experience overall amazing with the nurse, doctor, anesthesiologist. I was having problems with an insurance denial of the procedure and finally got in after my GI PA did a peer to peer right before! However, I am dissatisfied with my experience leaving. You are monitored after sedation for a bit but I was woken up by a technician with all monitoring connections already disconnected. Mind you, I have POTS, a condition that affects heart rate and blood pressure. Still feeling unstable (dizzy and weak), I was rushed by the tech to get up. Took my wife for a colonoscopy and wanted to simply commend the entire staff for their friendliness and professionalism. Everyone from admissions to recovery, nurses, doctors and aides provided a very comforting environment for my spouse and made an otherwise uncomfortable experience very comfortable. Keep up the great work.
Gwendolyn and Corey were so so sweet!! Made everything so much less stressful! However, the anesthesia nurse Susan Hailey did not contribute to that and was actually kind of rude! Took me by surprise and I did not feel comfortable with her, she made me feel guilty about my issues and as if it were my own fault. Thankfully Gwendolyn and Corey made this experience worth while.
