“Virginia is an incredible therapist, and I cannot recommend her enough. I was dealing with shoulder pain that was not resolved after multiple different therapists, steroid injections, and surgery. In just four weeks, she resolved my shoulder pain with a comprehensive plan that was customized for my individual situation. I wish I had gone to see her sooner!“

“I visited Active Spine Physical Therapy and worked with Jay on numerous occasions due to issues with my neck and hip. In particular, I had been struggling with a persistent neck issue since 2017, which had left me with frequent muscle spasms and debilitating neck pain. Unfortunately, a previous chiropractic adjustment had worsened the situation, leading to immediate and relentless pulsatile/somatic tinnitus that I had to endure for almost five years. Despite trying various treatments, the tinnitus only showed mild improvement over time.Upon entering Active Spine Physical Therapy, I found a clean and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. Jay and his wife, Rusiana, who both work at the facility, were amazing and incredibly kind throughout my visits.Jay's expertise and years of experience were evident as he crafted a tailored plan to address my unique issues. He prioritized resolving my neck problems first, and to my amazement, as we worked on my neck, my tinnitus started to substantially decrease. It has been the most relief I have experienced in years, and I was genuinely shocked by the improvement! Jay's care extended beyond physical therapy; he and his wife showed genuine concern and support, making the whole experience exceptional. As we continued to work on my tinnitus, I experienced even more progress. Thanks to Jay's dedicated efforts, my tinnitus is now barely perceivable, and I often don't hear it at all. The treatment has caused sustained relief as well. The results have been nothing short of incredible. I also haven't had a neck spasm since my FIRST visit with him - and I was getting them every few months.Active Spine Physical Therapy consistently exceeded my expectations, and I genuinely looked forward to my appointments. Jay and his Rusiana's kindness and care made all the difference. I feel incredibly grateful for the immense relief they've brought into my life. If you're looking for top-notch physical therapy that goes beyond expectations, this is the place to go.Highly recommended.“

“The office is always able to fit me in if an injury occurs. Their front desk staff is friendly and efficient. I love their online portal that lets me keep track of my progress with home "work". Thanks!“

“Natalie was stellar, professional, empathetic, and saved my sanity when she did an initial consultation with my 3 month old son (now 13 months). MOVE IT was recommended after he had his lip/tongue tie released and when little improvement was happening with his night sleep and nursing on my right side. Natalie thoroughly and quickly assessed him IN MY HOME - a big perk for a new mom - as well as listening to my improvement goals which were sleep and easily being able to nurse. Low and behold a lot of the issues we were experiencing were due to him having torticolis. She informed me of a treatment plan, dependencies, as well as 1-3 exercises to try out first. The exercises were not overwhelming and she offered helpful examples of how to incorporate them into everyday tasks. I saw immediate improvements just from the first round of exercisesI was in a very dark, sleepless state those first few months and Natalie's empathy, expertise, and easy of care and PT exercises made a world of a difference. Nursing and night sleep drastically improved in about 3 months and continued treatment through about 10 months. My now 13 months old is thriving and balanced on both side of his body! Thank you doesn't even describe the gratitude I have for her.“

“***If you have EDS see Obed***I have a rare genetic disorder that makes my joints very lax and recently had surgery to correct patellar instability. My PT therapist was Obed. He’s amazing. He had a very good understanding of my condition and even put in a recommendation I see another PT there who is a POTS specialist! Can you believe it a POTS specialist!!?? Anyway, so far I’ve had one visit and it was the best PT I’ve ever had. Mostly because he actually understands my condition and read my notes. Anyone who actually takes the time to read my notes gets an A+ in my book. The clinic was clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Additionally, they offer services on the weekends. I will update as I go along, but really it was a fantastic first impression and I’m overwhelmed with the kindness, knowledge and patient Obed had with me.“

“It was hard to make the physical therapy appointment even though my insurance doesn't require a referral. But once I got my PCP to call one in, I had a great experience with several of the physical therapists. It's clearly one of the higher functioning, effective departments at UNC. (Minus whoever answers the phone.)“
