I've been going to Grace for the past 3.5 years during my time in Chapel Hill! She's quite kind and with the $25 base cost for a all haircuts, it's totally worth the money. I was looking back at previous payments and my cost for the same haircut I always get has actually gone down because of it. I often ask for layers and come in with my hair freshly washed; she blow dries it and it always turns out great. I normally show her a photo and she also asks if you like it or if there's anything she can change! Go to her for a no frills, local haircut :)
