“I’ve bounced around a lot over the years, and finding a solid barbershop has always been high on the list. As a White guy with super curly hair, I’ve been going to Black barbers since my teens—those shops have always had the best cuts and the best conversations. Honestly, I’ve even thought about road-tripping across the country and writing a book about the people and stories you find in those chairs.

After moving to Cary, I’m glad I landed at Headliners. Tron’s my guy—always on point with the cut, and we’ve built a great vibe over time. The whole crew there is cool, welcoming, and just good energy all around. If you’re looking for a fresh cut and a laid-back atmosphere, this is the spot. ??“

“Today was my first time visiting Tony Hair Salon. I got a same day appointment based on the review pictures of layered cuts. I went in wanting to keep my length, get long layers and remove the heaviness of my Latina hair. Well… I feel like I hit the salon jackpot… I couldn’t have asked for a better cut! Tom really listened to what I wanted, viewed my inspiration images and articulated back his plan of action. It felt like we were on the same page the entire time. He really knew what he was doing with my long hair. I completely love my layered haircut and left a very happy customer! It’s so hard to find a hairstylist you can trust- but I’m a huge fan of Tom and the salon. I will absolutely be returning!

The environment was calm, clean, upscale and had WiFi. I was seated immediately and felt relaxed from start to finish. Check out was a breeze too. Oh! And the price was fantastic.

“Disappointed after a promising start

I’ve been getting my hair cut once a month, and for the past two months, I went to Scissorhands after finding them in the phone book. The first visit was great—my stylist was skilled, and I was really pleased with the cut. I went back the following month and had another great experience with the same stylist.

I called today to confirm the date of my next appointment (since they don’t give reminder cards or call you), and was told that my stylist no longer works there. When I asked if someone else could take the appointment I had lined up, I was told no. The person I spoke with briefly looked through the schedule but ultimately said there was no availability. No offer to rebook. No effort to retain a loyal customer. Just… nothing.

After two great visits, I’m disappointed that the follow-through and customer service fell so flat. It’s hard not to feel like I was just brushed off.“
