“I had a haircut on Wednesday with Tom for the first time at this salon. He was very attentive during my experience- though it was the shortest haircut, timewise, I have ever experienced. The shampoo/ conditioner was very quick, but thorough. Tom cut my hair just like the picture I wanted, but it was not styled like the picture- no biggie as I do hair and was able to replicate the picture when I got home. I wish Tom gave me a product recommendation when we made a comment about how frizzy my hair was but, oh well. Tom had, what seemed to be, a stylist in training wash and blow dry my hair, which was fine but this trainee really pulled my hair during the blowout but Tom corrected it and used it as a learning experience. I'm a teacher, so I was appreciative for the learning experience, but wish I was told I was going to be worked on by two different people because the style was not as I pictured/ what I wanted (the cut was, just not the blowout/ style)- plus was charged an experienced stylist's rate. The entire appointment from when I walked in the door to when I paid and left was under 30 minutes, including shampoo/ condition, consultation, cut, blowout, and checking out. It cost $45 in total not including tip. I'll definitely go back, but will be more specific in my request for styling.“

I will say though that this place is very bougie, but you do require appointments and if you do walk-ins there is a high chance they might not accept you.I came here a couple days before Christmas and they had told me they were very booked and I was there to do a walk-in but a miracle happen and a woman named Raquel was able to help me get in she had someone cancel on her so she had the ability to cut my hair. She did amazing and is definitely a haircut place I will be coming to way more often when I need to get a haircut totally recommend anyone who wants to try out our new hairstylist who actually makes your hair look like the picture that you show them she was amazing and great!!!!?“

“Our usual hair place is being renovated. So, I took my son to Sharkey’s for the first time. I did some research before we went and when I booked the appointment I chose Elizabeth as my son’s hair stylist.When we arrived, Elizabeth was very welcoming. My son got to choose what vehicle to sit in for his haircut. Small things like that really make a difference. Elizabeth listened to my suggestions on how to do the haircut. She talked with my son the entire time which, kept him occupied (so did the TV, stickers, balloons etc!) Periodically, Elizabeth made sure to use a hair dryer to remove the bits of hair off my son. Which he was so happy about! She was very efficient with time. We both loved the outcome of the haircut he got. My son really liked Sharkey’s and asked to go back and see Elizabeth next haircut.“
