Myrtle is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She is easy to talk to and honest about what to expect, short and long term. Electrolysis has truly been a positive change in my life and I am very happy that I made the call to Myrtle!!

I've been going to Myrtle on and off for treatment for several years and have had great results. I used to have dark facial hair above my lip and on my chin and now most of it is permanently gone - and I was even able to stop going for a few years. I started back to Myrtle over a year ago because I had new hairs sprouting (one of the joys of being over 50) and during each appointment she takes good care of me and makes sure I am satisfied before she finishes the session. I will have to disagree with the other reviews, I've been going there for a little over a year with great results, I haven't had to shave at all since I started, I never had any bleeding, I've even fell asleep a few times during the treatments. She knows how to control the current so that it isn't painful, it is normal for some people to bleed from overly dry pores, or if you had too much caffeine before treatment.
People who actually done their research before beginning the treatment would have known that you should be well hydrated before your treatments, and sometimes if you have two hairs out of the same pore, there might be some bleeding when you're trying to...read full review
